If you had been paying attention to your assigned spouse, you would have noticed that he would have been absent from your house. I visited him in prison just the other day.
This is a good way you may practice on preventative measures. At times humans do not see an alternate to what they may set out to do. Start out with presenting this other, more sound, option to their actions. Whatever you do, you must not turn a blind eye to his actions if you begin to have any amount of suspicion.
